I have recently added importance to finding a teacher that I can commit to. Although I find various podcast and readings to be of value, I also would love to be in a place where I can say "Recently my meditation is thus and I feel like thus" and ...

HI Ann.... I've been slow to reply to this one. Many traditional Vajrayana practices have never really appealed to me, especially when I hear people talking about 100,000 of this or 100, 000 of that. I've known some people who engaged in such prac...

hi hi,

no the nearest active Feri group is Ann Arbor. Not to far, but not around the corner either. and the nearest after that is St. Louis.

neither of those groups actually containe intiates... but everyone in them has, as like myself, studied under one or several of them for a time.

I recently found a sufism group- which is somewhat related. so im excited about that. =]

Hi Dan...I just added a group function to the NIng group. It can be used to start a smaller "group" within the larger NIng site. If you want to start one for the Wednesday noon group, please do so. That way people who can attend Wednesday noon can join, post forums, send announcements to each other, etc. We might end up doing this for other days too since some people just attend Sunday but not Wednesday night, etc

Dan...I wanted to thank you again for leading the group today. I thought you did a good job of bringing some positive energy to the room. The format was simple yet conducive to presence.

Don't be discouraged if the group takes time to evolve. It may take time to get the word out and for people to begin to show up. When you put energy into your practice, people will begin to arrive. It just happens.

Hi Dan....YOU can now add events to the WUTYL events page. So if you want to start posting about the Wednesday noon meeting, you can do so now! There's no provision for a recurring event so you have to add it each week.

Hi Dan...it was good talking with you yesterday. I kept trying to add replies about technology but they disappeared. I think it's b/c I also had a dialog box open, or maybe there really is a ghost in the machine!
